At the National Housing Federation’s Finance conference in March 2013, Alan Penrhyn-Lowe, Director of Financial Services at the Network Housing Group, and Paul Clarke, Director of Develin Consulting, presented a seminar entitled ‘Value for Money at the heart of change’.
It described briefly the work under way within the Network Housing Group (NHG – a Social Housing Landlord managing approximately 18,000 homes in the London area) to improve value for money within key services.
Due to the relevance of the subject for many Landlords, not to mention the Regulator, we have translated the key themes from the seminar into a published article. Those themes are:
- The importance of understanding services from the customer’s standpoint;
- Data and information about services;
- The quality of leadership and change management.
